When Good Potatoes Go Bad
Yesterday I was decluttering kitchen cupboards.
I thought about my 'grain cupboard' but since most things in there are stacked
in tidy square air-tight containers, I couldn't think of much to do, so I
skipped it for the day.
Today I went to look for the box of salt in that cupboard and found a long lost bag of potatoes ... sporting sprouts a good 10" tall! The most amazing sprouted, shriveled potatoes I've ever met. Too bad the ground is still frozen, or maybe I could plant them.
