up late, sad baby


blogging in the dark. It's 12:51 and LittleD is up for the 3rd time tonight. Already. Not only is it unusual for him to wake so often, but it unusual for him not to go right back to sleep after nursing a bit. Well, actually, he DID go back down nicely each time, he just was up crying again within 20 minutes or so. So this time I gave him some meds for his teeth -- he's been working on his molars. Oh, he seems asleep in my arms now, although a little squirmy. Maybe I'll put him down and hope for the best.

12:58 -- nope, that didn't work. Now I get to decide ... do I stay up and watch TV? Bring him into my bed? There's not that much to blog about, one-handed, at 1 am. Other than the evils of caffeine. Even now I'm finding I just don't know what to say. Apparently my brain shut down.
