Dinky Dog


Dale and I are 4 and 1/4 years apart in age, but sometimes it makes a lifetime of difference. Take Dinky Dog, for example. I have no idea why I remembered Dinky Dog, but I was singing the theme song. Dale thought I was insane. He had never ever ever heard of it. An internet search found it, a '78-81 cartoon, part of the "All New Popeye Hour", which I didn't think I ever watched, not being a Popeye fan, but apparently I did since I knew the Dinky Dog theme song . Much to my delight, I remembered it almost exactly. I'm sure that knowledge will come in handy, someday.
