Shoes


I bought some Lands' End Hand-Sewn Mocs because they were a GREAT price and I wanted some indoor "work shoes" ... I'd post a link to the shoes themselves, but they were such a great price they're just not there anymore. It's been nice having some comfy, sturdy slip-on shoes to work in. But I really wasn't fond of the color ~ here's a similar pair (the only difference is is mine have the low/no heel) in the same color:



Dale had told me I could paint them, so yesterday when I was painting my kitchen, I decided I'd paint the shoes. Below is the result, at least half-finished. I can't promise I won't do more. I didn't have a tiny teeny brush (or patience) like my sister Kelly uses to do very detailed shoes (scroll down to 'painted things' and choose the shoes links), but I did the best I could with carpal-tunnel frozen hands and a big brush. The colors are my kitchen paint colors, they make me happy.

I like my shoes a lot more now.
