Dear Mr. Holmes:
It was indeed a pleasure having
you speak with us during the principal's luncheon on Friday,
February 13th. Your words of inspiration were truly uplifting
and heart-warming I also appreciate your willingness to come
and speak to the group of Principals on such a short notice.
You are definitely using your God-given talent to spread the
word that we are all family, and we must all work together to
keep our family in grace.
Mr. Holmes, again, thank you
for your help and support you are giving to the South Dekalb
YMCA After-School program.
I pray that God will continue
to shower you with blessings.

Mr. LeCount R. Holmes, Jr. :
We, the staff and students of
Babb Middle School, extend our appreciation and a heartfelt "Thank
You" for your participation in our recognitions during Black
History Month. Your dramatization, "Frederick Douglass:
THE MAN," presented on Wednesday, February 1st, was motivational,
informative and entertaining. The audience was held captive by
your portrayal of Mr. Douglass.
Alter the performance, students
and staff stated that they cheered the presentation and learned
new information about Frederick Douglass. I am confident that
the students brought away more from your presentation than mere
facts about Frederick Douglass. They were privileged to see a
talented man who exhibited self confidence, compassion and intellect.
You served as a positive role model for all.
Again, we appreciate you visiting
Babb Middle School and look forward to future visits.
Respectfully,
Elizabeth L. Harris
Assistant Principle
G. P. Babb Middle School
To Whom It May Concern,
I had the privilege to observe
Mr. Holmes at Chapel Hill Middle School. During this time, he
worked with a group of middle school aged boys to help them to
develop into fine young men. As I observed Mr. Holmes, the following
characteristics were obvious: a positive African American male
role model had high expectations: for the students and adolescent
development; Mr. Holmes displayed to the students the importance
of selecting their greatest potential and not giving up on their
goals and aspirations. Throughout the year, the students were
accountable to Mr. Holmes both academically and behaviorally.
Therefore, it is with my highest
regard that I recommend Mr. Holmes to you for a position: this
would allow him to work with our youth to help them Improve both
academically and behaviorally. Mr. Holmes will truly be an asset
to any program that deals with the development of our children.
Sincerely,
Ms. Mary S. Bostic
Assistant Principal
Columbia Middle School
Mr. LeCount Holmes
Mr. LeCount Holmes is an outstanding
performer and group facilitator. He has been a part of our programming
activities for more than a decade. As the Master of Ceremonies
for the Annual Kwanzaa Awareness Festival, he imported historical
facts in a most eloquent and interesting way to young children
as well as to participants who are "seasoned" citizens.
Mr. Holmes knows his Black History and makes the story of Frederick
Douglass come to life through his one man show.
Mr. LeCount Holmes can be counted
upon to thoroughly prepare and make it polished presentation.
He has always been on time and is extremely cooperative in the
planning and pro-event stages. I am particularly impressed by
his oratorical skills and ability to relate to people of various
ages so effectively with his unique charisma. He consistently
emphasizes the need for all of us to increase our knowledge through
reading and first hand historical experiences. He is on target
with our focus and relays it to the audience in a most understanding
and entertaining way.
On behalf of the Friends of the
Library and our primary programming sponsors, I would like to
highly recommend Mr. Holmes to you. Please feel free to contact
me so I can provide further Information or assistance.
Sincerely,
Doris K. Wells

Dear LeCount:
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
We cannot thank you enough for your participation as a program
presenter in the Georgia Youth Summit to Prevent Underage Drinking
last week. The goals of the Summit were met and we could not
have done it without your Involvement.
The Georgia Youth Summit accomplished
the desired goals of bringing together high school students from
across Georgia to address the issues and identify top recommendations
for prevention. These 109 students had a life-changing experience.
We hope that you recognize, as we do, the significance of this
event in empowering these young people to become involved in
the process of changing their communities, state, and, ultimately,
this nation.
Your contribution of time and
talent as a member of the program team helped the Georgia Youth
Summit enormously. We appreciate all of the dedication you have
shown and hope that we will be able to work together again in
the future.
Once again, thank you for everything!
Sincerely.
