Power Players of the Universe: Prince Corwin of Amber by Matilda Wormwood

When it was suggested I do a series interviewing some experts on power and its uses from other worlds, I knew I had to start in the Kingdom of Amber. It took a lot of finagling and favor call-ins to get to this beyond mythical country, but finally I found a shadow walker willing to bring me to the city itself. Impressive place, Amber. Sparkling sidewalks, beautiful royal gardens, and breath-taking sea views in practically every direction you chose to look. Though it is known as a successful trade empire, when I first stepped past the gates, I couldn't help but think of the money these people could rake in if they promoted tourism more.
