Kyoto signs at night

I walked around taking pictures of the unique signage.

This first one isn't from Kyoto at all. It's from the Senri-Chuo station in Osaka. I though, could they possibly know what the connotation of this word is in modern English? Then I see the right-side-only earrings, and I though, well, maybe. The lower guy seems to have a nose-hair issue in addition to his 3 day beard.

Typical side-street in the Pontocho area of Kyoto. There are bars, restaurants, and really hip dudes standing in front of the girlie bars trying to get you inside.

Dinner at 844 Store was, um, unique. I had chickpeas in tomato-sauce over rice, and since I never met a chickpea I didn't like, it was pretty good. but not what I was expecting, and nothing to write home about--um, except for this.

Erberia?!! I wish I had tried this one, but the menu outside was all in Japanese save for the words, "Contorni, Antipasti, Primi, Secondi, etc."

Realism has something to do with men's suits apparently. Is that a Big Mac or a bagel sandwhich?

This sign in front of an entertainment center shows the same couple engaging in whatever activity is featured on that floor. What a cool idea.

Berkeley needs a Grazing Bar.

I wonder if 2F is the "Office" like, 'Honey, I'll be at 'the Office.'" I think we have a sister bar on San Pablo.

Great back-formation from the past participle or adjective, "Jam-Packed."

Judging by the line of limos out front, this is a really fancy place. I took a peak at the plastic menu in the window. They have their own wooden fenced-in area.

This sign was in the window of 884 Store.
