NSSP is a partnership of 12 screen and local government agencies in 6 countries in the North Sea Region (NSR) – i.e. Denmark, Germany, [Netherlands], Norway, Sweden and the UK (both England and Scotland). A full list of partners is shown in the Appendix.
NSSP is implementing an information and marketing campaign to the international media industry to help develop the industry in the North Sea Region and attract production and post-production.
The aim is to achieve direct economic benefits by identifying and creating opportunities for regional media production companies and services and attracting production and expenditure by companies. Indirect benefits result from increased media exposure of the area and links with tourism.
NSSP has received funding from North Sea Interreg under the current IVB programme.
