I can't give a detailed story of all the pictures, since it was 3 yrs ago, but here we go...
We were dog-tired & haggared before leaving for the Bahamas. We actually went back to work, the monday after we were married. We worked for a week, then flew out to the Bahamas. You can tell an obvious difference, in this picture taken AFTER our arrival. She's SO HAPPY!!!!!
The Royal Bahamian had a private offshore island that had a restaurant on it. I think it was called "Cafe Gumba". They had a gazebo, where this picture was taken. Here's a good front view of the restaurant, with a good lookin couple standing in front. They had conch fritters. "It doesn't LOOK that good".
We had an interesting room situation. Our booking notice had special instruction to put us in a room in the gardens. However, when we checked in, we were in one of these rooms. with this as the view. We spent one night in that room. The next day, I went down & questioned why we weren't in the gardens. Two minutes later, they took us to our new room. It was a "high-dollar" suite, & we didn't have to pay anything more!!!! It had a pool directly infront of it!!! Our own PRIVATE pool!!!!
Sandals Royal Bahamian was the "formalist" Sandals we've be've been to. 'Course it was our first, so that's cool. Here we are getting ready to leave for diner.
The Bahamian was the most spectacular resort we've ever seen. But at that point in our life, we hadn't seen ANYTHING. Although, at this point in my life, I'd still say it was the most beautiful. Here is a night picture of the pool
Kristy under the wedding Gazebo. Kristy LOVES laying on bars!!!!! I like to joint her, but I prefer to stand.
Sandals always has a swim-up bar. These things we've NEVER seen at any of the other Sandals. They were located on the end of a pier, so they were nice & peaceful.
The Crystal Room was our favorite restaurant @ The Royal Bahamian. Kristy liked to pose outside of the restaurant. There was a bar, infront of the restaurant, that's where Kristy is posing. The restaurant was eyecandy to the nth degree.
A snapshot after dinner. You can't tell in this picture, but I've got about 6 braids in my hair that matched my outfit.(Yellow & Blue) . The Royal Bahamian had statues all over the place, it added to it's "neoclassical" look. I had a certain attraction to them.
Here, I'm partying while Kristy is getting ready for dinner.
