NCP First Southeast Chicago Artists Meeting, March 13, 2008
NCP Director, Jackie Samuel (left center of photograph) welcomes artists and arts groups representatives to Claretian NCP First South Chicago Artist Meeting.
On March 13, 2008, the Claretian Associates New Communities Program hosted a South Chicago Artist Meeting at the Villa Guadalupe Senior Center's Community Room. Artists from the southeast Chicago community, and representatives of various community arts and other cultural groups attended this meeting, in which preliminary steps were taken toward initiating collaborative efforts to strengthen the arts presence in this community.
