GRAMMY Nominations For 2006

The all-Lauridsen CD Lux Aeterna released by Hyperion has been nominated for a Grammy award for Best Choral Performance for the performances of Maestro Stephen Layton's Polyphony and the Britten Sinfonia.

In addition, the Tiffany Consort's album O Magnum Mysterium, which includes Lauridsen's O Magnum Mysterium, has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Small Ensemble Performance.

SPRING Concerts In England With Polyphony & Britten Sinfonia

In March of 2006, Dr. Lauridsen will return to England for a performance of the Mid-Winter Songs by Polyphony and Britten Sinfonia, under the baton of Maestro Stephen Layton. In addition to the performance, there will be a pre-concert talk. The concert will be held at 7:30PM on Friday, March 31st, 2006 in the Norwich Cathedral in Norwich, England.
