Christmas Shopping

There should be many definitions of 'to become an adult', and I think 'buying someone a christmas present' can be one of them.

This Saturday Masayo and I went to Osaka to buy some things for Christmas. The most important of them is for Masayo as this will be her combined present for birthday and Christmas. She wanted a small back-pack and we visited several outdoor shops in search for her favorite. We ended up with a shiny pink day-bag by Gregory and I hope she likes it and uses it for long time. There was a note in the shop that Gregory is 'Rolls Roys of bags', and according to Masayo the note is more or less correct.

We also went to Yodobashi Camera, a huge shop selling cameras, PCs and electric equipments, and bought a 'minus-ion producing' hair dryer for my mother in law. I didn't know that there are that many different types of dryers in the world. Just visit your nearest shop and be surprised by seeing the variety.

Then I bought Big Issue Japanese version from the sales woman with whom I made my first purchase last month. I felt like I am an adult when I paid 200 yen. The amount is very small, but I paid it from my own decision...

Anyway merry Christmas to all!
