2 English Silent Weeks

Not so many things happened during two 'English silent' weeks (please click Read More)

I could not post a new English entry for a couple of weeks. I have been a little busy with work and household stuff as Masayo has been sick in bed for these several days. There are, therefore, not many things I think interesting to be posted here!

But I can pick up some things happened these 'English silent' days:

1. Lunch box of Convenience Stores (i.e. 7-11 etc)
I bought some lunch boxes at convenience stores nearby these days. Large selection,l but too salty. I missed Masayo's bento.

2. Bread baking
I find it helps me concentrate while I am mixing flour and water.

3. Bird Flu, not Chicken Flu
Bird Flu (Avian Influenza) is now spreading world wide and affecting our diet. I first thought it was 'Chicken Flu' when I heard about it at a radio news.

4. Kofi Anan, Secretary General of the United Nations, appeared in 'Sesame Street'
He looked very comfortable among the monsters.

5. Hair cut
Yes, hair cut is a very tough thing for me to decide to go. I again did it today.

The top photo shows Japanese radish sold in front of the grocery store close to our place. They taste very nice during the cold days!
