A small thing

can make a day. My case today is... (Please click Read More)

I spent some part of a day in a car, and I listen to CDs or FM radio either FM802 or FM COCOLO when I drive.

This afternoon I was listening to COCOLO and they were giving away some tickets for the preview show of a film the Last Samurai in Nijo Castle here in Kyoto next Friday. I was driving, but I was interested in the film itself and thought it would be fun to see the film in the real traditional Japanese castle. I then sent an e-mail from my mobile phone, and waited for the announcement of the winner at the end of the programme. (They say Tom Cruise might show up in person, so it must have double the number of the applicants)

At the end of the show around six o'clock in the evening, the DJs said they could not inform of the names of the winners as there were so many people applied. They however read some messages from those applied, and my 'radio name' "Monban" was read. It definitely made my day, and I shouted 'Yeaaaaaaah' in my car holding the steering wheel.

I now do not care whether I win the ticket. I rather care whether my next message (or request for a song) to be read next time! Anyway I sent a thank you e-mail when I got home.

It is a good start of a weekend, isn't it?

By the way, Masayo says the figure of the photo above looks like me. Do you think so too?
