Resemblance is in the eye of the beholder.
Take a look at the several sites online
that match actors they consider as lookalikes,
and you may not necessarily agree with their choices.
Conversely, others may not see the sense
in the associations you make between faces
you think are similar.
These pages will sort through the fun familiar faces
that we meet time and time again,
episode after episode after episode,
in Gunsmoke, other b&w tv westerns,
and most of all in the early cowboy movies.
Almost all are not household names.
Some do look very much alike,
some simply fall into the same type,
and others are confused not because of a similarity
in visage but in names.
Almost everyone will be obscure,
in the sense that as the best guest actors,
they always became their part.
