Such as it is, here is a brief photo-record of my first large-scale cooking endeavor at my new place.

   
 
Two new things: brine the turkey (ratio: 1 cup salt:1 gallon water; soak for a few hours); cook in bag...
a yummy Zinfandel to set the stage...
what would Thanksgiving be without a rabbit platter...
and a turkey upon it...
the plate of food to be gnoshed on...
the cats like turkey, too...
it ain't elegant, but it's horizontal...
