Web Standards Solutions & Bulletproof Web Design
The excellent Web Standards Solutions book has
been around for a while, but it is still the book I most often refer to
developers who are trying to move away from ugly tagitis-ridden table based
layouts and who want to embrace web standards, CSS layout and
styling.....
One thing I like about these books are that they
are well organized and easy to read. The content is practical and "hands on".
Just read the reviews on amazon.com using the links below. Couple the knowledge
in these with some base CSS "playing field leveling" foundation CSS files like
the YUI Library CSS
Tools files from Yahoo and you will soon be quickly transitioned to CSS styled
layouts without tearing your hair out due to browser
differences.
