EOPrototypes for MySQL
Here is my current version of EOPrototypes
for MySQL. EOPrototypes are an essential way of setting up default mappings and
settings for each of the common data types you plan to use. Also it ensures
consistency across your whole database projects. This might make a good starting
point for a WO beginner who wants to work with MySQL
New version Apr 03 2004 (Thanks to Ashley Aitken for notifying me about Read Only flag set on the oid prototype)
New version May 05 2004 (I updated many items to Allow Null ... just makes java coding so much more convenient ..... and nulls are more memory efficient than java objects holding a default that I don't care about)
Just download this ZIP file and drag the EOPrototypes entity to your EOModel.
Feel free to download it if you wish. I will upload newer versions as I update it.

Note Aug 5, 2005: Alternatively just use the ERPrototypes framework from Project Wonder.
