Oh yes, I have met Hammou more than once. The first time he was still called MacDonaldi (accent on the ald). In fact, he wrote to me many years ago asking for a copy of my book and I think that that was what started him out on his performance but he picked up bits from Fan and Ana Yang after that. I saw him last year when I was performing in Dusseldorf and he was playing on a ship that picked up audience in Cologne and took them down the Rhine for a while and then back, meanwhile serving them dinner and a show. He was billed as The King of Bubbles and someone in my group (performers from the show that I was in) suggested that I challenge him for the crown but I told them and then him ... "Look, this is show business, nobody ever bills themselves as the Peasants of anything."
He's a pleasant guy. Like Ana Yang and other bubble performers that I have seen (I haven't seen Fan in many years)
