This was an experimental day. I had the sprinkler going
(and locked in position) and the sun was just right in
the sky to cause the rainbow effect. I was hoping to do a
rainbow over a rainbow, but it never quite worked. The
extra moisture in the air didn't hurt though. I did
notice sometimes the bubbles would pass right through the
mist, and other times the bubbles would pop when hit by a
jet of water. I've since practiced bubbling outdoors in
slight rain and heavy rain and have found the same to be
true~little soft drops pass through the bubbles. Big rain
drops cause the bubs to burst.
