Outside of this tri-state area, please EMAIL BubbleGuy@Ymail.com with your questions or event particulars. I'm on the road a lot and trying to cut down on phone tag. Even so, it might take me a day or two to return your EMAIL. But have no fear, I will!

Hello,
I am a teacher at Rice Square School in Worcester, Mass. I was wondering what are your fees and lengths of your programs? Also what concepts do you reinforce for first graders?

Thank you
Christine C.

Hello Christine,

Ahh, first graders!
While the show was written especially for the full range of K-6 graders, there is a lot in there for those who are first.

Premise of the show: We explore and understand the world around us using both science and art. Both involve imagination and creativity too. Bubbles are fun to make (and pop) but there are reasons why bubbles behave so magically (science) and real people have created amazing methods of presenting bubbles in novel ways (history & art).

I'm an artist who explores science using bubbles. Many of my methods and devices are unique.

Science topics include: Liquids, solids & gases, films, force & pressure. Why won't water make bubbles on it's own? Where do the rainbow colors come from? Air is real, it takes up space and it's heavy. Hot air rises. Helium rises too but for a different reason. (For older students some content & the manner of presentation will change to reflect their advanced appreciation of the science at work. The show presents wonderfully for all of K-6.)

Usually, 1 Show: $475**
**Libraries often have fewer than 100 patrons at their shows. Sometimes however, you will be hosting a big event or bringing a school in for some reason and then you might expect me to say the fee is a bit higher.

Travel is included in the fees. I need about an hour to set up in the space. Indoor shows only.

I'll bring all the tarps to keep your school clean, a sound system & mic, backdrop... everything! You'll simply provide the space (performance area at least 12' x12') and the audience.
