| Colour: | Above, the Agile Wallaby is golden or sandy brown. There is a dark brown stripe between its eyes and ears. It has a distinct white cheek-stripe and hip-stripe. The ear edge and tail-tip are black. The underneath colour is whitish. |

| Form: | Male Agile Wallabies have larger and more stout arms than do the females. Their tail is thin. It normally holds its head high. | ||||||||||||||||
| Distribution: | Found across northern coastal Australia from the Kimberlies of Western Australia across the Northern Territory to Queensland. | ||||||||||||||||
| Habitat: | The Agile Wallaby is found along rivers and streams in gallery and open forest and adjacent grasslands. | ||||||||||||||||
| Nests: | It has no nest. | ||||||||||||||||
| Food: | Agile Wallabies feed on native grasses, roots, leaves. It is attracted to areas regenerating after fire. | ||||||||||||||||

| Human Influence: | The Agile Wallaby has been declaired a pest in some parts of Western Australia, in the Northern Territory and in cane-growing areas of Queensland where a bounty is paid. | ||||||||||||||||
| Abundance: | The Agile Wallaby is abundant across its range. | ||||||||||||||||
| Features: | The Agile Wallaby is crespuscular, coming out to feed after sunset and before dawn and is also nocturnal, feeding at night. They are usually gregarious, occuring in groups up to ten in number. When grazing they may form larger groups. The Agile Wallaby is an alert and nervous macropod. | ||||||||||||||||
