Consular Weekend - the pictures

Bernard says "Paint 'em yer Ruddy self" and that sort of sums up the spirit of the fun weekend I had at Wincanton whilst attending the official opening of the Consulate of the City of Ankh-Morpork in Wincanton.

A big thank you to all, but especially to Isobel for extending the capacity of the Sausage Supper, Trevor for inventing even more great Diskworld games, Bernard for being, well Bernard, Frank for being the very model of a modern Consul General and Julian (my mate, without whom I'm sure I would have lost many more possessions). Oh, and last but not least to Terry, who's prolific and inspired work is the bedrock for the fun. Long may it continue.

The links at the top of the page lead to the real meat of this little web site. All of my digital pictures are here for you to enjoy, download, and use. All I ask is that you acknowledge the pictures were taken by me and pass any comments on the photographs back to me. Conventional photography will follow (I hope to post 36 shots of the group photo's taken outside the Memorial Hall).

The photo's on this site are not the unedited (or as I'm sure Bernard would probably say - not mucked about with) originals. The pages with dates show photo's which've been reduced 25% and compressed a little with JPEG. I've done this so that you won't have to wait an age to see them (I know there are places where BT still don't do broadband).

If you'd like the raw Photo's (they're all at least 1MB) eMail me the rather inelegant file name that appears under the picture and let me know how to get them to you. I'm prepared (if you have narrow-band only and want a number of pictures) to burn them on to CD. I can eMail enclosures, or will grant you access to my 24*7 file server so that you can browse and grab at your leisure. I've restricted the server to no more than 10 simultaneous connections. If the download service proves popular (at all) you might need to return.

Thanks to all for a bloody great weekend.
