Literally: the absolute denial of
shit.
Lovers of kitsch are subconsciously expressing
their wish to live in a world that is free from shit, where shit never happens,
and everything in the garden is coming up roses all of the goddamn time.
Unfortunately, life just isn't like that. Get over
it.
