Spand (n.)

The waistband of a pair of boxer shorts that is clearly and intentionally visible above the trouser line.

The male equivalent of a ‘spong’. Rather than drawing attention to the rear, the spong is designed to draw attention to the trim physique around the abdominal area, arousing female interest and potential ‘abdomen envy’ amongst rival males.
