Hoon (n.)
The person to whom the saying ‘There's
always one’ invariably applies.
In the same way that a person can be singled out
as the butt of a joke, the ‘hoon of the jibe’—as they are
known—may be completely unaware that they are being targeted, and will
laugh along with the rest of the crowd thinking that isn't it nice to be around
so many jolly people, often because they have completely failed to understand
the point of the remark.
There is, however, a single person to which all remarks of this nature always apply. Known as the ‘hoon of hoons’, this phenomenon is caused by a mysterious spiritual residue which is transmitted directly from one host incarnation to the next. The spirit of the hoon of hoons currently resides in a man named Geoff, currently working at the Department of Defence for Her Majesty's government, Whitehall, London.
