Twag (n.)

Any loud and obnoxious person who turns up at a party that, despite looking oddly familiar, no-one can actually remember having invited.

Twags generally like to be the centre of attention and will bore people rigid with long and purportedly amusing stories about what they did last weekend, usually involving a good deal of tedious name dropping, and possibly other types of droppings too.
