Karmaphobia (n.)
The essentially well-founded fear that one day
all of your past actions and misdeeds will finally catch up with you, at which
point you are most probably in for a very nasty time indeed.
To avoid karmaphobia, one must practice the
well-documented spiritual practices of good action, good thinking, good
speaking, good oral hygiene, and so on, performing ritual purification of one's
past transgressions on a regular basis. Alternatively, if you can manage to
dodge the inevitable negative consequences for so long that you actually die
before the karmic energy comes to fruition, then you can pass away safe in the
knowledge that any unpleasant consequences will instead be handed down to future
generations. Suckers!
Not to be
confused with ‘kormaphobia’.
