Morosophobia (n.)

The irrational fear of coming into close contact with someone who is depressed or otherwise unhappy on the slight off-chance that their feelings will turn out to be infectious.

Needless to say, morosophobes do not have many friends, as there is no such thing as a truly happy person (well, not on my planet anyway) and their affliction is not to be confused with the similar sounding, but otherwise entirely different condition of ‘Moreauphobia’.
