Boobishness (n.)

A feeling of mild discomfort or embarrassment that is experienced by some people whilst in the company of a mother who is breast-feeding, particularly one who is actually rather attractive or unusually well-endowed.

Boobishness is a form of stress caused by the tension between wishing to appear completely casual and unperturbed by the situation on the one hand, and the fear of accidentally glancing directly at the breast on the other. In acute cases, the sufferer may have to leave the room while feeding takes place, and to avoid any further embarrassment, on no account should the mother attempt to talk directly to the person whilst remaining exposed in this manner.
