MA 21

MA 21 Information: Southern terminus is at US 20 in Springfield. North terminus is at MA 9 in Belchertown.

History/Facts: Originally started in Forest Park in Springfield, and went to Athol via Belchertown and Enfield. Was truncated to its current terminus by the flooding of the Quabbin reservoir in the 1930s. At some point in the future it was truncated to US 20, but I'm not sure when that was - not in the 1950s, as it was planned to be part of an outer belt highway in Springfield and Ludlow.
