MA 187

MA 187 Information: Southern terminus is at the Connecticut border in Agawam, MA. The Northern terminus is at US 20 in Westfield, MA.

History/Facts: MA 187 is an extension of CT 187 through Agawam and Westfield. It is cosigned briefly with 57 in Agawam, this may not have happened had the rest of the 57 freeway been built.

This is in Westfield. I think Massachusetts is moving to really huge route shields - I've seen a bunch of these around lately.

This is right after MA 187 splits from MA 57. MA 187 is really a continuation of CT 187.

A familiar sight to those who ride rural roads in MA.

This is after a stoplight, and nearing the terminus with US 20.

Old north stuff (before new bridge):

This sign is covered in anticipation of the new bridge where MA 187 terminates at US 20. I'm guessing it'll be lane direction - left turn only for two lanes, right turn only for the right.
