My Lover, the Stalker

OK, here's a commercial that celebrates Stalking...

It's an Infiniti commercial for their new SUV. You know the one, where the guy puts up some sign post letters spelling: "Missing", some cable that spells out: "You", and finally a banner that he flies from his SUV saying "Already". All so his girlfriend/wife/mistress can see how much he misses her as she leaves on a train trip.

The guy is unshaven, dirty, and looks like he hasn't gotten any sleep for the past couple of days worrying about the love of his life leaving. If I was his girlfriend I'd be worried.

Let's look at this carefully. He scours the city looking for big metal letters, cables or hawsers from a boat, and has a banner professionally printed up. He then locates positions along the train's trip through the city where he can put his signs or lay out the cable, and then finds a patch of road that parallels the train track.

Now that, to me, is a bit obsessive. OK, more than obsessive, it's downright scary. And this guy is supposed to be an average owner of Infiniti SUVs. Well, maybe they are right...
