(fairly close, anyway)

Notes

(Neo is making a phone call)

NEO (V.O.): I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us, you're afraid of change.

I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin.

I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules or controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible.
Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

The song being played during this scene is Wake Up by Rage Against the Machine.

Neo warning the machines can be compared to Yeshua's commission to Christians to share the truth with the world. But I think that is reaching a bit. Neo is declaring war on his adversary. I think it is very clear that, although he is not dictating the future, he does not intend to allow people to remain prisoners.

Perhaps this can be more closely tied to Yeshua's death on the cross and his time in Hell...His victory over death and hell and His promise that we, too can be victorious.

A nod to Superman, Neo blasts by us, his long black coat billowing like a black cape as he flies.

Neo's flight represents the ultimate freedom...freedom even from the law of physics that govern our world. Perhaps a hint at what we can look forward to in a new world, a forgiven world.

This final scene could be seen as Yeshua announcing himself as Messiah.
