We could say that Morpheus plays Lazarus here. He is in a long, narrow room, similar to a cave. He looks nearly dead and surely will die if left here. In fact, Tank wants to 'pull the plug' on him already. And Neo's order to him to 'get up,' is reminiscent But when Neo calls his name, Morpheus regains his physical strength and his cognizance and is able to 'come forth.' |
