TANK (to Mouse): (V.O.) They're on their way.

(Tank watches his screen)

TANK: What is that...?

(The music played here is called "Threat Mix." Later, when Morpheus fights Agent Smith, the musical piece is called "Exit Mr. Hat."

Both "Threat Mix" & "Exit Mr. Hat" are deliberate anagrams of "The Matrix.")

NEO: Whoa. Deja vu.

TANK: Oh shit! Oh shit!

TRINITY: What did you just say?

NEO: Nothing. Just had a little deja vu.

TRINITY: What happened? What did you see?

NEO: A black cat went past us and then I saw another that looked just like it.

TRINITY: How much like it? Was it the same cat?

NEO: It might have been. I'm not sure.

NEO: What is it?

TRINITY: A deja vu is usually a glitch in the Matrix. It happens when they change something.

Deja Vu refers to "the illusion of having previously experienced something actually encountered for the first time." Another way to say this is that it is a moment that makes you question reality. See the symbols section for a list of deja vu scenes.

(Tank sees what was changed.)

TANK: It's a trap!

MORPHEUS: Come on!

APOC: I hope the Oracle gave you some good news.

TANK (to Mouse): (V.O.) They cut the hardline! It's a trap! Get out!

MOUSE: Oh no.

TANK: No, no.

(Mouse goes down fighting.)

Mouse is wearing a T-shirt with a skeleton on the front. In addition to foreshadowing his physical death, the skeleton symbolizes a state of vulnerability.

He is also drooling over his 'woman in red' when he gets the phone call.

Red is the color of aggression, anger, danger, sin, and war. It is associated with the devil and evil., sexuality, love, passion, and lust.

Perhaps if he had not been distracted he would have had time to get out of the room.

A Christian who is focused on sin has not taken up his/her spiritual "armor of God" described in Ephesians 6:10-20.

CYPHER: That's what they changed. We're trapped. There's no way out.

MORPHEUS: Give me your phone.

TRINITY: They'll be able to track it.

MORPHEUS: We have no choice.

MORPHEUS (V.O.): Tank, find a structural drawing of this building and find it fast.

TANK: Got it.

MORPHEUS (V.O.): I need the main wet-wall.

TANK: (V.O.) Now left and that's it in front of you.

MORPHEUS: Good.

(Meanwhile:)

AGENT SMITH: Eighth floor. They're on the eighth floor.

AGENT BROWN: Where are they?

COP: They're in the walls!

CYPHER: It's an Agent!

TRINITY: Morpheus!

MORPHEUS: Trinity, you must get Neo out. Do you understand? He is all that matters.

NEO: No. No! Morpheus! Don't!

MORPHEUS: Trinity! Go!

TRINITY: Go!

NEO: We can't leave him!

TRINITY: We have to!

(In the Basement)

TRINITY: Come on!

Morpheus shows his loyalty to Neo just as Peter showed his to Yeshua...he is willing to lose his life if he must. (John 18:10)
