Kathy Davies - 36, married, unconventional Christian.

Blogging for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. I've known several people who have survived cancer and have received help from LAF and I've known several people whose lives were taken by cancer. LAF is a great organization, helping those with cancer and their families, as well as helping in cancer research.

I'm also a huge fan of Lance Armstrong and, after reading his book, It's Not About the Bike, I've been raising money for LAF in any way I can!

Using Matrix theme because it is a life theme.

Subscribes to the Catholic - Jewish - Messianc - Christian philosophy of religion.

What does that mean? Read and you'll see.

But I'm not Neo!

Well, neither am I. Fortunately, the Matrix movie has types for us, too. Neo is sometimes a type of Every man...he has to search to find the truth, just as we have to search.

But in both cases, the search is going on both ways. Not only is Neo searching, but Morpheus, who has the truth, is looking for him. And God, who has our truth, is searching for us. God's longing for us is far greater than our longing for Him. He stands at the door and knocks...waiting patiently for us. He seeks us out when we are not able to search for Him.

He also tells us in Acts that He has sent us the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort us. We might still struggle to understand, but He does everything He can to make the struggle easier. In fact, it is usually not understanding the truth that we wrestle with; it is accepting that truth.
