I happened upon these 40's
and 50's style cards this morning and wanted to share the fun.
Reading about some of the models, how they became
models, what they did after and how they feel about these cards now was a treat.
To find that many of them gave up lucrative modeling careers to become mothers,
social worker and, for one to work on the Manhattan Project. All intelligent,
strong women who knew what they wanted and, and
blessed with beauty understood it's fleetingness and shallowness. "Susann
