I joined a swap this month at Create a
Connection and, wow! have I been spoiled!This month's swap was a box. It could just be a
box, it could be a box with stuff in it...whatever. But look at all the stuff
my swap mate crammed into this box! The shiny thing you can't really see is a
pair of bedtime socks with lotion to make your feet soft. There is also a pair
of day time socks...very cute for
summer.
She obviously found my knitting habit, because she included a pair of nice needles and 2 skeins of yummy soft yarn that will probably end up as a shrug so I can feel that softness on my arms all day. The Imperial Oats book is a blank journal...I'm trying to decide what to use it for...I want it to be a journal of knitted objects or ideas or something like that. There is also a jade rock that I plan to wire wrap and use as a pendant, the most yummy smelling mint soap, 2 chocolate bars (that didn't make it through the first night), a candle that will be perfect for baths, and a fabric garland. All very nice stuff that made me all giddy! Now I'm hoping the box *I* sent will be enjoyed!
