out of the plastic bags I receive from the local grocer. They don't offer paper
anymore, so I've decided to reuse what they give me until I get enough bags to
stop accepting theirs. Looks like it will take long than I thought, though, as
I've still got a long way to go and I've run out of their bags. Every time we
go to the store I sit down, cut up the bags and knit them into the bag. I think
a couple more trips should do it. Here are some great
directions for making 'yarn' out of plastic

I do, however, have some other plastic bags from shopping at other stores and I'm also planning to use them to knit shopping bags and maybe a few other things.
