I need sponsors! July 26th, you know, is Blogathon 2003 and I'll be blogging
about how the Matrix relates to my life at my life in the
Matrix...getting unplugged.
The whole point, you see, is to raise money for The Lance Armstrong Foundation, (LAF), an
organization that "exists to enhance the quality of life for those living with,
through, and beyond cancer. Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion
cyclist Lance Armstrong, the LAF seeks to promote the optimal physical,
psychological, social recovery and care of cancer survivors and their loved
ones. The LAF works to define, refine and improve services for cancer survivors
and to facilitate the delivery of those services—with a large dose of
hope—to patients, their families, and other loved ones
touched by the disease."
It's a great organization, founded, of course, by 4 time Tour de France winner, Lance Armstrong. (Keep up with his current defense of the jersey!)
I have a few great sponsors (thanks, everyone!) but YOU could be a part of the fun and noble venture, too! Just click on the Sponsor Me link on the right and pledge a buck or 1,000,000 bucks or something in between. You can be anonymous, you can tell just me, or you can tell the world. You can sponsor me for each hour (like, $100 per hour that I blog) or just pledge a lump sum. Check the faqs at Blogathon 2003 to see how easy and safe it is to donate!
Come on! Be a hero!
