03/2001 -- dairy tank from Denver to Kansas

On this trip a gust of wind snapped off the overhead sign and bent the lightbar brackets back. (That's why I carry extra signs.) We were running an average of 75 mph.

6/2001 -- gas compressor through Wyoming

I was the follow car for this one. Charlie from C.W. Escort was in the lead car. We drove through some severe weather on this trip and I got to see a funnel cloud (possibly a tornado) and a wildfire on this run while driving through Newcastle.

6/2001 -- double-wide mobile home to Craig, CO

The second half of this double wide blew a tire just as the driver pulled into the dealer's lot (rearmost tire on the right side). Talk about good timing.
