Yoga for the Neck and Shoulders
Master Class with Linda Barberic

New Classes and times to be announced shortly.

Vinyasa Yoga

Linda Barberic of Soma Yoga is starting a new Vinyasa Yoga series of on going classes VINYASA YOGA

Viniyasa means "breath-synchronized movement" vinyasa flow is invigorating practice which develops strength, flexibility, stamina and balance. Linking the movement from pose to pose, with the breath builds internal heat leading to purification of the koshas (layers of one's being) and indriyas (senses). A unique and creative blend standing sequences and classical poses systematically working the entire body and mind, helping you feel grounded and confident.

Students in Linda’s classes can expect a fun, safe, caring, easy-going environment in which to explore and deepen their understanding of their bodies and their lives.

Linda is grateful for the inspiration she has drawn from her teachers including, Tias Little, Manouso Manos, Aadil & Mirra Palkhivala and David Swenson. She has been particularly influenced by the study of Iyengar Yoga, a very precise asana methodology which focuses on physical and energetic alignment. She is a registered teacher through Yoga Alliance and is a member of the International Alliance of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).

Private Yoga Consultations

Private Yoga Consultations.

While yoga classes are an effective way of learning and practicing, there may come a time when a students need can best be served in a one-on-one relationship with a teacher.

In a private yoga session, there is undivided attention to your yoga practice, tailoring the session to your individual needs. Private yoga classes can take you further in your practice than a group class can.

There Are Many Reasons For Deciding on a Private Yoga Session Including:

* Rehabilitation of injuries or working deeply on a certain troublesome area of the body * Helping you develop a customized daily practice * Personal attention is given to help modify postures and then develop alternatives to accommodate your physical ability * Assisting you in the precise alignment of each asana

Please feel free to contact me at my e mail

Yoga Parties

Yoga Parties

Yoga birthday parties, yoga cocktail parties, yoga bridal parties, yoga book-club parties. Yoga teachers see yoga parties as a sign of yoga's increasing popularity and expansion into the mainstream as well as an indication that people are looking for ways to reduce stress and touch their spirituality.

Party-goers come dressed in comfortable clothes and ready to celebrate themselves. What better way to enjoy yoga than by sharing it with your friends and topping it off with perhaps a massage or spa. The yoga teacher brings the props music, sometimes even mats. Ask your yoga teacher about doing private parties. Yogis report that they leave parties relaxed and full of energy.
