Alicia Bessette is a self-trained musician and has been playing the piano since childhood. Her first compact disc, Reservoir, was released in 2002 and received rave reviews from artists such as David Lanz, in addition to Solo Piano Publications, Synchronicity Magazine, and Wind and Wire.
Both Reservoir and Bessette's current release, Orchard, were recorded and produced by Benj Lipchak of Wachusett Records.
Bessette and her husband, writer Matthew Quick, have moved from central Massachusetts to the Philadelphia area, where they live with their retired racing greyhound, Stella.
