$5.87 a gallon. Today. See pic.
The Coast Guard (the only thing
we've got left) was there in their HH-60 helicopters -while the hurricane was
still blowing!
Gas prices are beyond crazy. Storm or no storm.
The oil companies have all turned in
record profits. Remember gas prices
before Bush? Remember thinking that you would
never
pay $2.00 a gallon? You'd pay it now, wouldn't you? With a smile on your face
too. Think about that for a minute. Record profits
before
the storm...You do realize that gas
will
NEVER be
inexpensive again, don't ya?Can anyone
say major economic shake up? I can. You heard it here
first.Oh yeah - while I'm at it -
remember whenever there was a major disaster that the 1st thing to respond was
the National Guard? Did you see them this time? BTW: It's more than just the
personnel, it's the equipment. I'll be generous and give you 1 guess where it
is...Who came in before any kind of
response or order from the president? The Coast Guard (the only thing we've got
left) was there in their HH-60 helicopters -while the hurricane was still
blowing!One other thing: There's at
least 20 oil rigs missing in the Gulf. TWENTY! How is it that the ones in the
North Sea, where the weather is much worse than any single hurricane, are still
there? Where were the building inspectors, eh? (or something more
sinister?)Now check out this pic (and
keep in mind that it's only going to go higher over the next few months and
years)
