SVG300 Introduction

to the History of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The history section will start with a chronology. This is intended to provide a context in terms of World History and, in particular, the history of the three main streams of ethnicity that met during the period of slavery. Because the framework chronology was set up in North America for the Columbian Quincentennial there are no references to the Asian contributions to Caribbean culture. This will be corrected in the future.
