...and welcome also to a website in the form of a book celebrating the caribbean island nation called Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
If you are not familiar with this kind of website acting as a book, the trick is that if you click on certain words you will be sent to another page. In my browser these words are shown in red and underlined. In your browser they may be different, but they will be like the word "next" in this sentence. When you see the word "next" in the text or at the top or bottom of any page, clicking on it will take you to the next page in the book, which, from this page, is the "introduction". That is like turning a page, except that some words (or pictures) may take you somewhere other than the next page. You can always use your browsers return key to get back; or click on the word "home" to get to a familiar starting point.
Any word which has the same format as "next" will take you somewhere. For instance, the word "Home" will bring you to a Table of Contents and, from clicking on words in that table, to the pages containing various topics in the book. The Home page also has reminders on navigating, if you get confused by the format.
This is not as easy as turning the pages in a printed book, but it is a lot easier to include a lot of pictures. This book contains, or refers to, some 3000 pictures of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines or related views.
I hope you will enjoy this experiment in publishing, that the contents are useful and entertaining, and that the format is not too disconcerting for those used to paper books. You may want to adjust the width of the page to a bit wider than the logo at the top of the page so the aspect ratio resembles a paper book.
Most of all, I hope reading this book will entice you into visiting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, that some call "The Paradise of the Caribbean". Start your visit by going to the next page.
