 Yes, it has multi-function ring!! You can now switch between focus and zoom with a button. Also it could switch between shutter speed and the gain but I don't know how it is switch between focus/zoom and shutter Speed/Gain.
And, I was worried about the hi-res wide mode, but the feature was even improved than GS100. GS100 takes the wide screen from 934 x 575 pixels but GS400 takes from 1152 x 646. Panasonic claims that it would be almost same as standard quality. Way to go. Of course it has pro-cinema mode with 30p (hardware interpolate) & cine-like gamma. Only thing they did not fix was the anamorphic display on the LCD. Oh well. |
