I received another MOJO Boxxcart with less damping yesterday. Since I don't ride so aggressive often, stock cartridge valve setting and the 25lbs spring was little too firm for me. Then ChrisP from MOJO Suspension Hoodoo offered me the less damping cartridge to use with lighter weight springs. Now I set it up with yellow spring and it is now seems perfect for me. I ran down a steap stairway and it was using pretty much the whole travel with no harshness. Also felt like front and rear shock are moving about the same amount.
So, for avarage riders like me, I would recommend to specify that you wanna go easy going with lighter spring. The spring you would be using now (use one of the heavier one if you are mixing different weight such as medium and light) then it will be ideal.
Here is my setting:(I'm 70kg but I'm over weight about 10kg)
Yellow spring/10w fork oil/less damping cartridge
I will go to Takamineyama soon to finde out how it really works in the course. |
