Ozric Gnawa

This piece resulted from my exposure to

the British improv-electronica band Ozric Tentacles (their name came about from thinking up great names for breakfast cereals), who do amazing things with synthesizers and sequences in a live setting

and

the Moroccan Gnawan musician Hassan Hakmoun, who with his band one night in San Francisco put on one of the most stellar demonstrations of what it means to be deep in a groove
